Welcome to Page Turner Magazine’s Winter Flash Fiction Contest! A new scientific age is upon us, and it’s our delight to introduce you to our Sci-fi contest. This season’s prompt is “Distant Horizons.” We are on the hunt for genre fiction that is out of this world.
For this contest, we want to know about your unbelievably advanced robots, your tragically structured dystopias, your fantastically inspired space voyages—or any other sci-fi horizons you can imagine.
It’s about the Science. The modified bodies, the artificial intelligence, the technology beyond our own. It could be Earth in the future, a world completely different than our own, or life almost as we know it—just a few changes here and there. It’s about how far your imagination can reach, or how you can subvert science fiction in a unique way.
